We are delighted today to learn we have been shortlisted in the Mobile Entertainment awards as one of their best marketing companies. This is in recognition of the great year we have had so far; in May, GP Bullhound’s Media Momentum Awards ranked Somo as the third-fastest growing digital company and the fastest growing mobile company across Europe after revenues increased by 508% over the last three years. The awards recognise the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the European digital economy. Somo was also selected as ‘One to Watch’ in the NMA Interactive Agencies Guide and The Drum’s Digital Top 100, and Mobile Entertainment has named us one of the top 50 mobile innovators for two years running.
We’ve opened new offices in Singapore and New York alongside our existing premises in London, San Francisco and Los Angeles and brought on board a suite of big name clients including AirAsia Expedia, Paddy Power and Red Bull. Somo now employs 90 people, after having seen staff numbers grow by 30% in 2012.
The winner will be announced at the ME awards ceremony on 29th November at the Royal Garden Hotel, fingers crossed!
