Thomas Schulz

Thomas has built and managed international businesses at the forefront of digital media, in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments, for more than a decade. He has particular expertise in performance marketing.

In 2000, he became European MD for dotTV, an Idealab! backed company sold to Verisign in 2001. He then joined Somo co-founders Nick Hynes and Carl Uminski at Overture Europe where he held several Pan-European corporate and business development management positions and was post-acquisition partner of the European Yahoo! Search Marketing executive team.

Most recently, Thomas was Managing Director for EMEA with AdMob mobile advertising network, which successfully sold to Google in 2010 for $750 million. He oversaw the company’s strategy, operations and expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

At Somo, Thomas oversees global sales activity, account management and deployment to our offices around the world, spending much of his time travelling to meet new and existing clients.
