We’re thrilled to announce Somo has just won Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year 2019 at The Drum B2B Awards for our work with Siemens Financial Services.

The Drum is Europe’s largest media and marketing website and the fastest growing in the US and APAC.  With the awards ceremony hosted in New York, their annual B2B awards celebrate agencies and brands that transform businesses and the lives of millions. 

The winning project is an example of how Siemens and Somo responded to the changing demands of our fast-paced, consumer experience-led world; demands of faster, more convenient and more sustainable methods of exchanging goods and services in both our private and professional lives. 

MySFS - Somo success story

Launched in April 2019, MySFS was borne out of a dedication for achieving customer excellence, and is a finance tool that transforms how other Siemens business units, and its partner vendors and brokers, access finance from Siemens Financial Services (SFS). 

We have transformed a frustrating procedure with multiple touch-points into a clean, simple four-step process. Approval for finance under £250,000 can be granted in just a few seconds, dramatically improving the experience for both customers and staff. What used to take almost 2 hours now takes less than a minute, and SFS have already processed £1.6 million worth of approved financial decisions during the pilot so far.
