The Brief

The CEO Council hosts the world’s top industry leaders to address business and policy issues. WSJ wanted to use technology to transform the experience for this elite audience.

The Solution

A tablet app personalised for each of the 180 delegates, initially displayed as a stunning, innovative Headcut Wall, synced to transition in unison to create one large image.
The app was designed and built in a matter of weeks by a core team working with the client in the US and leveraging Somo’s UK-based engineering hub.

The Results:
Both the app and the Headcut Wall made an immediate impact on the elite audience, who employ a combined six million people, generate $2.5 trillion in annual revenue and represent 21 countries in a wide cross-section of industries.
